I am 26 years old and I am looking into having a bbl done, I know I need a tummy tuck too but I don't want to get One quite yet due to me wanting more kids in the future. Is it possible to get only a bbl with no tummy tuck?
Answer: BBL without tummy tuck Absolutely! I have many patients in your exact situation where they plan on having more kids. You can have the BBL done now and the tummy tuck later in the future once you are done having children.Best of luck and hope this information helps!Dr. Roger Tsai@DrRogerTsai

Answer: Brazilian Buttock Lift (BBL) and Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck): Information Dear Annmarilee, Thank you for your story and questions. Unfortunately without a exam of your tissues I can only give you general information. However, I hope you find it helpful. The short answer to your question is yes a BBL can be be done without having. Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). My concern is that if the fat harvested from your abdomen may leave you with noticeable loose skin. Non surgical options include postoperative skin tightening using Radio Frequency (RF) like Vellashape III or Thermi Tight. Surgical options include a form of abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). However I agree you should delay this option until you are certain you will not become pregnant again Your fat donor areas include abdomen, flanks, inner thighs, back and arms. I suggest the following: 1)write out your questions and bring some photos of models buttock and abdomens you visually desire.2) Schedule several consultative appointments with Plastic Surgeons who are experienced with BBL techniques and Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In addition and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (denoting by membership as having met additional criteria and a focus on Cosmetic Plastic Surgery). Answer: BBL candidate You can certainly have a BBL procedure without a tummy tuck if you are not ready for the tummy tuck. If your abdominal skin is loose or you have stretch marks, the skin will remain loose after liposuction. Once you have your final child, then you should consider a tummy tuck at that time.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
