There is always flexibility for each case.  What may seem like little work may be more than you may think in terms of set up and time.  There is usually a minimal fee.  If you look around I'm sure you'll find a doctor who will do it for much less.  Focus on results, not so much on cost.  The $2000 range you mention is reasonable.
