I am very interested in having an eyebrow transplant but I have read that this procedure is usually only performed on people with no eyebrow hair because of the risk of shock loss. Is it possible to increase the density and thickness of my eyebrows without losing the hair I already have? Are there any surgeons in Canada who specialize in eyebrow transplants? Thank you.

Answer: Eyebrow transplant should be done by an experienced surgeon You don't have to have no eyebrows to have an eyebrow transplant surgery. You were told this probably because eyebrow surgery is difficult and the results may not be always perfect. If you have NO eyebrows, it would be better than nothing.

The hair base or follicle is usually healthy and the hair will grow back. Pretreatment with topicals may help with this. Talk with your transplant surgeon. Good luck!
