I had surgery 3 weeks ago and I notice one breast is different than the other and the areola on the left side is far from where it's suppose to be than the right and looks like my right breast has dimples on the incision from the areola to the bottom is this normal? The left one looks normal but the right breast looks kind of lopsided and weird

Answer: Dimpling The dimpling you see on the incision from the areola to the bottom is normal. They are areas where deep sutures have been used to bring your tissues together. They should settle over time as the sutures dissolve and your tissues settle. Regarding the position of your nipple areolar complex on the left, it will not improve over time and you will need a revision to move it more centrally. Hope this helps!

Answer: Dimples on incision Hello and thank you for your question and photo's. It is normal to have some puckering initially, so give it several months before you see the final result. If your areola is still not centered at that point, your PS should revise it.
