Hello I am 32,5’0” and my weight is 187.2 I am a mother of 5 and I set a date for 9/15/20 to get Lipo 360 with j plasma. I eat clean and do light workouts but nothing seems to work. My body holds weight and it’s really frustrating.i just wanted to get another professional opinion while I’m on this journey of getting fit. How do you think my results my turn out?
Answer: Liposuction and Tummy Tuck Thank you for your question and pictures. In your case I recommend a Tummy Tuck with liposuction after losing weight (at least 20-25 lbs to achieve a BMI of 33-34) It's important to understand what each procedure can do for you. When a Liposuction is performed, most of the fat under skin is removed, but all skin remains. If your skin were still elastic enough, it would stick back smoothly, but it seems like it has lost elasticity already. When a Tummy Tuck is performed, you'll get liposuction too. Main difference is your extra skin will be removed, muscles will be repaired and you'll get a smaller waist and flatter abs.

Answer: Lipo then tummy tuck I believe lipo 360 would be good for you. The safe amount of weight removed is 10 lbs in one session. You may need several sessions to safely remove all the weight. I also recommend you wear a compressive garment. You should also consider a low fat diet and core exercises such as sit-ups and pilates. Eventually, you can consider a tummy tuck. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Am I a good candidate for Lipo 360? I am 32, 5’0” and my weight is 187.2. (photos) Ideal candidates for liposuction are at or near their ideal weight and have good skin elasticity. Liposuction is not a weigh loss procedure and will not remove the stretch marks. You will see a change in inches rather than in pounds. Most plastic surgeons look for a BMI close to 30 to ensure maximum results and to minimize the risks of complications during and after surgery. Discuss a weight loss and exercise program with your PCP or a trainer who can help you determine the best path for you to reach a healthy BMI (your current BMI is 36.5)

Answer: Lipo360 + body lift - VASER HD, J Plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite, abdominoplasty, hormonal optimization, weight loss you need significant weight loss and skin removal. liposuction alone will not be good for you. the smaller you are before liposuction the more contouring you can get from the procedure. most of my liposuction patients get pre and post surgical optimization with hormonal therapy (see link to help boost their weight loss before surgery and help them heal after). You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Answer: Tummy tuck candidate Dear AryCari, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT once you reach goal weight. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
