I went trough ba surgery, because I hated the stretch marks i developed after my three pregnancies, I didn't want to have huge boobs at any time, actually I hate big boobs. I wanted to go from cup aa/a to cup full b at most. It's been 4 days since surgery, and I know it's really soon to tell if i'm going to stay this big, but please...I need to know if i'm going to get what I asked for! I'm panicking already. My surgeon put high profile, 300 cc silicon gel , mentors, am I still have a petit constitution ?
Answer: Swelling goes away final result 1 year. Hi there! Please don't panick and don't let the swelling concern you! It's common to have apprehension about your final results, but I think it looks very good already and your surgeon chose a good size. Keep a positive attitude and follow closely with your PS who will continue to take great care of you. Best, Dr. Aldo

Answer: Breast Implants / Breast Augmentation/ Cohesive Gel Implants / Silicone Implants / Revision Breast Surgery I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you at this time. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz

Answer: Concerns after breast augmentation surgery. I am sorry to hear about your concerns after breast augmentation surgery. You should be aware that a significant percentage of patients at your stage of recovery will feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small.I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image. There are both physiological and “psychological” reasons to wait on having revisionary surgery. From the physiological standpoint, it takes many months ( and even up to one year) to see the final results of surgery. factors such as swelling, tissue contraction, skin redraping, implant shifting etc. come into play. From the psychological standpoint, patients undergo an “adaptation period" during which time they get used to the changes that the surgical procedure has brought about. Severe emotional swings can also occur after any type of surgical procedure. In your case, I would suggest continued patience. In the longer term, if you have the same concerns, downsizing (and possible adjustment of breast implant capsules) will likely be necessary to achieve your desired outcome. There is no specific (standard) waiting period for revisionary surgery. For the benefit of other women considering breast augmentation surgery: BEFORE undergoing the breast procedure it is very important for patients to communicate size goals carefully with their surgeons. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) are very helpful. Bra sizers and computer imaging are also helpful visual aids. On the other hand, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or “B cup” means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Best wishes.
