I just had 300cc round moderate plus profile mentor over the muscle just under 2 weeks ago and I'm still experiencing some pain in the left breast towards my upper chest and cleavage area... Wondering if it's still healing or is this a sign of failure? Please help...
Answer: Pain within a month is typical I wouldn't be alarmed by pain, especially if it is slowly improving.you do need to continue close follow up with your physician. some issues such as infections or delayed bleeds can occur two weeks later. Most patients, however, who still have pain at two weeks, in my experience, are just a bit slower to heal but with close follow up will do well.

Answer: Sign of failure? Wow. Greetings boobibear! Let's think positive. You just had major surgery on your breasts and it seems to be going really well. Occasional pain will come and go especially in the first 6 months as your skin stretches! This may be muscle spasm/tightness. Read more about recovery in the link below. Best, Dr. Aldo

Answer: Breast Implants / Breast Augmentation/ Cohesive Gel Implants / Silicone Implants / Revision Breast Surgery I appreciate your question.I would recommend that you follow up with your surgeon so he/she can examine you and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan at this time. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.Best of luck! Answer: Postoperative pain after surgery Thank you for your question.Breast augmentation surgery is usually associated with a fairly quick recovery. However, keep in mind that the body heals over 6-12 months after surgery, and 2 weeks postop, you are still in the very early stage of healing.Limitation of activities, wearing appropriate postop bra, performing any postoperative massage as instructed by your physician, will allow the most rapid resolution of your recovery phase of healing.Good luck with the rest of your recovery!

Answer: Post-Op Hello. Thank you for your inquiry and congratulations on your surgery! It is important to have an in-person medical assessment regarding this issue as it is difficult to determine virtually. Continue to update your doctor in the matter and follow their post-op protocol. It is important to get cleared by your doctor before engaging in specific physical activity before the 3 month healing period has ended as the healing stage is crucial for healthy results. Our tips for recovery following breast augmentation are to wear a supportive sports bra for 3 months post-operative and refrain from lifting anything heavier than 10 lbs for 3 weeks as we don't want any strain at your incision sites. Make sure to keep the area of your stitches clean by cleansing with hydrogen peroxide daily. Showering is encouraged! But, no sitting in water for 2 weeks following surgery (no baths, hot tubs, pools etc.). Please note that this response does not substitute patient-doctor relationship. We welcome any and all patients seeking advice to come in for a complimentary consultation available for limited time only. During the COVID-19, we are offering complimentary online consultations as well as in-office consultation with social distancing and masks. Procedure done in-hospital private surgical facility while taking covid-19 precautions. We utilize UV-light to clean the air of viruses and bacteria during our consultations and surgery.
