4'10" 100 pounds - Size For Petite Woman?

Question

I am 4'10" 100 pounds. The only time I had breasts was when I was breast feeding. I am scheduled for a lift with implants. I am considering 285 cc demi round or the 265 cc demi round. For the latter I am worried it will look to large on my frame. I don't want to look like a tiny person with stuck on boobs. I know either choice is going to be noticable. I am worried with the 265, I would end up regretting going to small.

On a petite frame like yours, even modest implants tend to project more noticeably than they would on a larger build. Keep in mind that 265cc and 285cc are very close in volume (about a teaspoon difference), and a lift combined with implants will further enhance the appearance of fullness.

A great way to build confidence in your decision is to try sizers in a fitted bra, and wear a white fitted t-shirt overtop during your pre-op consultation. This can give you a much more realistic sense of how each size will look and feel proportionally on your frame. Photos of patients with a similar build who've had comparable sizing can also be very helpful.

In a very petite frame, the difference between 265 cc and 285 cc is usually modest, but the implant diameter, projection, and how it fits your breast base matter more than the number alone. With a lift, your existing skin envelope and nipple position also affect how natural the result looks.
I would ask your surgeon to compare both sizes with your measurements, tissue thickness, and goal photos, preferably using sizers from the front and side. If both implants fit your anatomy well, choosing the slightly smaller or larger option often comes down to how much upper fullness you want and how comfortable you are with a noticeable change.

To put your mind at ease, the difference between 265cc and 285cc is only about 20cc&mdash;roughly equivalent to four teaspoons of volume&mdash;which is often indistinguishable once the implants are placed. At your height and weight, both choices will provide a very noticeable transformation, but the "demi" profile is a smart move because it offers a more natural, moderate projection that avoids that "stuck-on" look you’re worried about. Since you are also having a lift, your surgeon will be reshaping your existing tissue to sit higher on the chest wall, which naturally makes the breasts appear fuller even before the implant is added. If you truly fear looking "too large," the 265cc is a safer bet for maintaining a frame-appropriate silhouette, but if you frequently find yourself wishing for more volume in clothing, the 285cc is unlikely to push you into an "overdone" territory given how close they are in size.
