I suggest starting small however if you really have a significant amount of lost volume you may need more over time. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello,Without an examination or at least photos, there is no way to intelligently answer your question. It really depends on your anatomic deficits and your age. I can tell you that the number one reason why people choose not to get more Sculptra is because they didn't see enough of a result, because they opted for less than the recommended amount in the beginning. Thank you for your question. It is difficult to assess your exact situation without examining you or at least reviewing pictures. For most patients, 4-6 vials of Sculptra is needed for restoration of facial volume. This is usually done over 2 to 3 injection sessions spread apart by 4-8 weeks. I have some patients who have gotten by with as little as one vial to meet their desired results. It is best to schedule a consultation with an experienced injector of Sculptra so that you can have your goals and concerns addressed.
Thankyou for your question. It is difficult to give you advice with seeing a photoor examining you in person. However, Sculptra requires a minimum of 2-3 treatmentsto achieve optimal results. It is common to use 2 vials of Sculptra in onetreatment session. I recommend having a consultation with an expert to discussyour concerns and to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
The amount of Sculptra needed for the cheeks depends on your anatomy and the facial structure and volume loss that you have. If you have significant volume loss then two vials is completely appropriate. Please consult an expert in Sculptra for the best cosmetic injections. Best, Dr. Green
Hi Whatcanmynamebe, Without providing photographs with different profile views of the area you'd like to have treated it is difficult to give any recommendations on the amount of vials that would be needed. I suggest having a consultations with an experienced injector. Best, Javad Sajan, MD
whatcanmynamebe,Thanks for the question. Injecting 2 vials in a single setting is totally acceptable depending on your face, age, and areas you want to address. I usually inject two vials per treatment every 4-6 weeks, though for some patients I use one. This question really depends on your facial anatomy and expectations.
Sculptra is designed to be done in a series of treatments 4 or more weeks apart. This is because it works by stimulating your own body to increase volume in the area injected. I generally recommend 1 to 2 vials per treatment for 3 or 4 sessions 6 weeks apart. This gives the body enough time to respond to the treatment and thus avoid over treating or over filling.
It's impossible to say exactly how much Sculptra you would need without an assessment, either through an in-person consultation or at least by reviewing photos. In general, Sculptra provides subtle results over a period of several weeks to months, and often requires a series of 2-3 treatments for best results. That said, it is not uncommon to recommend 2 vials in a single Sculptra treatment session. I would recommend that you seek out a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon with extensive experience in Sculptra treatments prior to scheduling treatment.
I agree with my colleagues below that it is really impossible to say without seeing photos to understand the amount of volume loss you have. Sculptra works over a series of treatments, typically three and depending on the amount of volume loss, can involve several vials. As long as you are seeing a reputable board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon experienced with Sculptra, I suspect you don't have anything to worry about.
Hello, As the other panel members suggested, if you are satisfied with the one vial from one treatment, then it's difficult to suggest you need another session. However, if you are concerned about the long-term benefits and investment, it becomes more challenging to speak to expected duration i...
It's always a good idea to avoid any supplements and/or medications that may increase your risk of bruising, before your injectables. If however you take these medications (such as aspirin or other blood thinner) for medically related reasons, then you should consult with both your treating...
Although Sculptra is a good volumizing product, we disagree that this should be an option for acne scars. Sculptra is placed much deeper than where acne textural scarring would benefit from, and given it's expense, this would not make for a good financial investment or produce ideal outcomes. ...
I have found bruising to be quite uncommon after Sculptra treatments, and is usually causes a bit of swelling for a day or two but not two weeks.I would recommend visiting your injector and asking what may be done to improve the area, hopefully this will resolve with time.
As the panel members chimed in, having both products together does not pose any problems. In fact, the combination of using more than one injection product usually has a synergistic effect that compliments the end treatment goal. There are limitations vs. benefits with each product, but for v...
Sculptra in the temples works very well to add volume for a long-term duration as well as balance the volume of the face. By softening the bony rim of the eye bones, we achieve a more youthful, softened appearance by bringing light into a convex vs. concave area. Traditional gel fillers, s...
