Neck Lift Revision - Recommended platysmaplasty, cauterizing the bands and hemostatic stitching. Is this a good plan? (Photos)

Sherents
Hello. I am 38, thin petite build, 112 lbs. In April of 2025 I had a deep plane neck lift. Since surgery, I have struggled with a deep constant pain, specifically on the right side of my neck. Also, my platysma bands are very tight and not cut. I have had multiple follow ups with my doctor, we’ve tried Botox, massage, lymphatic drainage to relieve the pain and tightness I’m experiencing. At my last follow up my doctor recommended a revision, stating he would do platysmaplasty, cauterize the bands and do hemostatic stitching. The stitching would be left in for five days. I’m reaching out to get a second opinion before my revision appointment in November. Along with the neck lift my doctor did an upper bleph and brow lift, also a mini face lift with incisions at my temples. Everything else looks great and I am very happy. I am just anxious as I’ve had so much discomfort with my neck.
