I had a lipo/TT/BBL done about 10 months ago so that my body could match the work I put in in the gym and the kitchen. I work out 5-6 days per week and maintain a strict diet. After consulting nearly 10 doctors, I landed on one that had some good results on his website and a bedside manner that made me feel comfortable. He convinced me that in order to have the best results I needed a TT, so I went with it. I am not satisfied with my results due to a lumpy stomach. Can a revision fix this?
Answer: VASER to address lumpy stomach after lipo/bbl Hello, and thank you for your question regarding a revision for a lumpy stomach 10 months after your tummy tuck, liposuction, and BBL. I appreciate you sharing your history and pictures. Based on your images, I believe you have achieved excellent results, and I do not see many visible lumps on your abdomen. However, if you are noticing unevenness or lumps, it is not uncommon for residual fat deposits or scar tissue to create contour irregularities after a tummy tuck. If the lumps you are experiencing are due to excess fat, liposuction can often help smooth the area. However, if the lumps are the result of post-surgical scar tissue, VASER liposuction may be the best option. VASER liposuction uses ultrasound technology to break up scar tissue while precisely removing any remaining fat, leading to a smoother abdominal contour. I recommend waiting at least 4 to 6 months before considering revision surgery to allow your tissues to fully heal and soften. At that point, if the lumps persist and continue to bother you, a revision with VASER liposuction could be an excellent solution. When consulting with plastic surgeons for a tummy tuck revision, be sure to choose a surgeon experienced in revision procedures and VASER liposuction to achieve the best possible outcome. Best of luck, and I hope this helps answer your question! Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Lumpy stomach Dear Diligent111294, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Options for lumpiness after liposuction Hi Diligent111294, Your photos show more waist curvature and an athletic look with some muscle definition-likely from the liposuction and possibly fat transfer into muscles to make them more defined. If the lumpiness is from the liposuction and not the muscles, it might be fixable with some blending of the edges with fat removal or if there is no excess fat in surrounding tissues, perhaps grafting some fat into any depressed areas. Both of these options can be done with local anesthesia and not a lot of downtime. Taking fat out of the muscle is harder and would require the use of an ultrasound to find where the fat is. Your original surgeon would be the best to address this with. Good luck!

Answer: Would a revision help? I encourage you to begin by visiting with your surgeon to discuss your concerns. If the issue is subcutaneous fat then liposuction could be done to improve the results. J Plasma could be considered as well. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
