Will these 2 brands be similar in outcome or is the Natrelle 310 Moderate closer to the Mentor 325 Moderate Plus? I realize they have different diameters and projections so I'm trying to decide between the 2 but want to know which are most similar in size and outcome?
Answer: Difference The difference is minor, especially with the volume and you probably won't notice it. The moderate plus is slightly taller than the moderate implant, but not a big difference especially if both are placed behind the muscle. Both are excellent implants and both companies have stood the test of time, have great warranties, and are great companies. Personally, I do not use any other companies but these two.

Answer: Mentor 325 Moderate plus vs Natrelle 330 Moderate? Hello, Thank you for the question. Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions of the chest wall. I also utilize Vectra 3D planning to further help with implant selection. Implant projection varies between low, moderate, moderate plus and high profile within the three major breast implant companies (Sientra, Allergan and Mentor). Patients who desire a more natural look typically go for moderate/moderate plus profile, while patients who desires a more full and augmented look with typically prefer moderate plus/high profile breast implants. Based on the two implants you have mentioned, moderate plus will likely give you a slightly fuller look but in general both implants are pretty similar. Best wishes and good luck with your upcoming surgery. Dr. Irena KaranetzFellowship-TrainedBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Mentor 325 Moderate plus vs Natrelle 330 Moderate? Thank you for your questions. I would not sweat the small minute differences in implants. You should discuss with your surgeon what he or she prefers to recommend and why. And most importantly, you should make sure you are choosing a surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Hope this helps! Answer: Mentor vs Allergan The sizes you are deciding between are very close although I know the measurements may not be. Allergan's Inspira line has more of a fill in comparison to Mentors regular line. Mentor does have a newer line call Xtra which is more in line with Allergan's Inspira. I would not concern your self too much in regards to which implant company to go with but more so with the surgeon and what the surgeon is comfortable using. Hope that helps.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear walkermp, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
