I broke my nose 10 years ago and now the bone is felt easily on the side of the bridge and the skin at the sidewall is very sunken in. What procedure could correct this?

Answer: Rhinoplasty after previous basal fracture Ideally nasal fractures should be reset and reduced as soon as possible after the injury. Once the bones have healed in misalignment, correcting the injury becomes more difficult. This can be corrected in a number of ways. Ridges and bumps can be filed down, and the bone may need to be refractured and reset in better alignment.. Alternatively, areas were volume loss is an issue can potentially be treated with tissue grafts manipulating bone and cartilage, or potentially with the use of fillers. I suggest having a few in person, consultations with local plastic surgeons, who have approve and track record doing rhinoplasty surgery. Rhinoplasty surgery is fairly complex, and patients are well advised to find providers who have decades of experience, and have done thousands of previous rhinoplasty procedures.
