My nose is far too undefined. Do you think this will resolve? (Photo)

Question

broke my nose 11/15,had open septorhino 12/15.there were complications bc displaced bone fragments.I am 3 weeks post op.I know that swelling will take 1yr to subside but I am nervous about the asymmetry of my nose.I feel like front on it looks totally crooked and botched(nostrils/nose)Do you think this will resolve?I worry that it will not appear as defined as I want.There are lumps on the bridge of my nose near my eyes, which I know is bone.Will this settle or is this likely to stay put?Thanks

Simply put, it is too early too tell at this time. Most likely most of your issues will resolve over time. There are also minor things such as massage and taping that can be done during the healing process that will help to facilitate an improved result. I would discuss those options and your concerns with your rhinoplasty surgeon.

Briefly, in reviewing your photos, several rhinoplasty changes may be performed in the future to bring your nose into better harmony with the rest of your face.  The key part of my sentence above is that especially after having 2 "traumas" within a short period of time it is best that you wait up to a year before having another revision. I only have one thing to add to the consultants comments.  Please do not have any other procedures for at least one year.  Then if you are not happy, consult your surgeon or find another BC plastic surgeon for an opinion.  It is a mistake to keep reoperating too soon and surgeons feel the pressure to do so from unhappy patients.  It will further muddy the waters.  I know it is hard, but wait.  Good luck

Less than 3 weeks post op so you need at least 3 months healing time to see the appearance. Than revision can be decided upon fir 6 months postop. Which I think you will need - sorry....
