I had a small belly fat. I had liposuction on my muffin top and love handles 8 weeks ago and injected fat into my buttock and face. I know many doctors leave the small holes open to allow blood and liquid to go out. My doctor used 4 sutures for the 4 holes he made. Is it how it is? Im not wearing the compression garment anymore as it gives me back pain. Will this affect the result.my belly is still swollen and me love handles are stiff.I'm almost having a diarrhea ever since I had the lipomatic.

Swelling and large amounts of fluid retention are expected and are a normal aspect of recovery following liposuction even at 8 weeks, since it takes about 3 months for most of the swelling to subside. Fluids in the blood vessels leak into the tissues and have this effect. There are methods such as massage, exercise, and compression which help to deal with the swelling. Although swelling is normal, you should still contact your plastic surgeon regarding any questions you may have.
