I've had my implants for 5 years now. I am 21 weeks pregnant and can feel some sort of lump at the top of my right breast. The lump feels hollow and I am able to push it in. Could this be my silicone implants?

It is difficult to determine what exactly the lump is without an in person examination. You should make an appointment with your plastic surgeon immediately.

Without a photograph it is difficult to make a recommendation, but your best bet would be to discuss this with your ob/gyn who may be able to identify the cause, or seek out your plastic surgeon directly for reassurance and piece of mind.  Any recent changes in your breast should be evaluated by a medical professional who can help guide you for help if needed.

Any breast lump needs to be evaluated by trained surgeon.   Because of the hormone changes during pregnancy, these lumps must be seen and examined ASAP.

Breasts usually become tender and lumpy during second trimester of pregnancy as the gland changes under influence of hormones. But what your lump feels hollow and can be pushe inside. This could be your implant itself. Please do see your plastic surgeon to confirm and to reassure yourself.

In most cases having breast implants shouldn't affect one's pregnancy or one's ability to breast feed.  However, if you feel a lump in your breast be certain to bring this to your doctor's attention.  A physical exam and/or mammogram should be able to help determine what the lump is.
