Is it safe to take 800mg of vitamin E to prevent CC?

would wait and check with your doctor before starting. Certain vitamins (A, D,
E, K) are considered fat-soluble, meaning that they are stored in your body
differently than water-soluble vitamins. The difference is that excess
fat-soluble vitamins are not excreted through your urinary system, which means
that excessive intake can build up in your body and cause health problems.
Because of this, I would suggest checking with your physician before putting
yourself on any dietary program.

Hello Blue. I have my patients take a similar dose and for about the same time period of time. However, I don't think you should self-medicate. You should speak to your plastic surgeon about your capsule concerns and be evaluated. A better medication for risk reduction for capsule contracture might be Singulair.
