Answer: Gynecomastia male breast reduction male breast liposuction male breast skin male breast tissue male nipple healing post-op Hello Mustioo, Thank you for your questions regarding your nipples after gynecomastia surgery. It is very important for you follow up with your plastic surgeon in Turkey. From only two pictures and without a physical examination, or knowledge of the specific type of gynecomastia surgery performed, it is very difficult to treat you in a forum such as RealSelf. In the meantime, I would suggest a topical, moist antibiotic like bacitracin or silver sulfadiazine ointment. This should be applied three times a day. Another alternative is a silver alginate dressing. These will help to heal the nipple. Hyperbaric oxygen will also help. Showers are acceptable. Baths are not acceptable. I would also suggest an oral antibiotic, like Keflex or ciprofloxacin. Please follow up with your Turkish plastic surgeon. Good luck! If you have any further questions regarding gynecomastia surgery or treating complications after gynecomastia surgery, please contact my office. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.

Answer: My nipple is falling off after gynecomastia. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry to see your nipple difficulties. It is unclear if you had a free nipple graft or lift type of procedure performed by your nipple appears to have not survived the procedure. I would recommend reaching out to your surgeon for local wound care advice and a discussion as to the next steps in treatment once you have fully healed. Best wishes.

It looks like you have some significant problems with the blood supply to the nipples following your surgery. You need to see a local plastic surgeon for advice regarding dressings. Some minor surgery may be required to remove any dead tissue. Good luck with your recovery

Answer: Healing Issues Post Surgery Hi mustioo,Thanks for the post and photos. Based on the photo you have did not have enough blood flow to the nipple or areola. This will require wound care with ointments and possible minor debridement. If returning back to your surgeon in Turkey is not an option, I recommend finding a plastic surgeon in Melbourne that can evaluate you and treat you. The key at this point is to get the wound to heal over. Then a decision can be made as to how best to improve the cosmesis. Sincerely,Dr. Dadvand
