Is it standard practice to treat zone 1-3 of the male chest using liposuction techniques for gynecomastia/pseudo gynecomastia?

Recently, I had gynecomadtia surgery. The physician never did a pinch test examination to determine how much gland might be present. It was only after surgery did he tell me there was virtually no gland. Upon inspection, it was evident that he only liposuctioned zone 1 only and not zones 2and 3, leaving bulging fat at the sides of my chest. Is it not standard practice to contour the entire chest?
