Banana roll/ligament damage - Is there a way to rebuild the ligament or fix the damage?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You have a banana roll underneath your buttock at the top of your posterior thigh due to skin redundancy. You have two options to correct this and they include a)Renuvion skin contraction; b)posterior thigh skin excision. To determine which one is the rigth procedure for you it will require a virtual consult by a liposuction revision specialist.

Liposuction is not going to damage ligaments. Ligaments are tough connective tissue bands that stabilize joints and there are no ligaments anywhere close to the banana roll.

Without including pictures we can’t even begin to make an assessment but if Removing fat created the problem then restoring the fat is probably one realistic option which can be done with series of fat transfer. The banana roll is a skin fold and it’s not typically related to fat distribution and should not be treated with Liposuction.

Skin resection may also be an option for you but without at least seeing pictures we can’t begin to make an assessment. I was guessing you have followed up with your provider. If that person is unable to help you then you will need to get second opinion consultations by other more experienced and talented board-certified plastic surgeons in your community.
