I agree that pain a year out is not typical after vein treatment. It may not be anything serious, but I would recommend seeing the physician who initially treated your veins. They will probably end up recommending another ultrasound.

Upper inner thigh pain following an ablation is very common but usually occurs from 2 to 6 weeks post procedure. It is not normal to have continued inner thigh pain one year after the ablation. You should have a repeat venous sonogram of that area and follow up with your treating physician.
