I have had my veins treated by a spa prior to this and it didn't work. From my limited understanding the spa lasers are too weak to effectively treat spider veins ( in western Canada). I have moved to a small town and would like to know what are the best lasers to treat spider veins on my face?
Answer: Best Lasers to Treat Facial Veins There are different lasers that can effectively treat visible veins on the face. In my office, we typically use Vbeam and CoolTouch Varia for this purpose. These devices are particularly adept at targeting the blood inside vessels without damaging surrounding tissue and skin. However, the experience of your provider is more important than the specific device used for your treatment. Make sure your doctor is board certified with extensive experience and training in the device used. This is the best way to ensure an optimal outcome.

Answer: Treatments to eliminate visible facial veins There are different lasers that can be very good in eliminating visible facial veins. In my office, we commonly use the Vbeam laser. These devices are particularly adept at targeting the blood inside the vessel, coagulating the vessels so they seal closed and collapse. Treated veins are absorbed by the body while blood reroutes through healthy veins nearby. The procedure is generally quick and painless and patients often achieve full results from a single treatment session. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in vein removal to ensure your treatment is both safe and effective.

Answer: Sclerotherapy for Varicose Veins / Spider Veins on Legs/Thighs -- combine with Intense Pulsed Light photofacial (IPL), Excel V Thank you for your question. For varicose veins, we typically recommend a safe, minimally invasive procedure called Sclerotherapy. A salt solution is injected directly into each vein, causing them to collapse and ultimately disappear. For long-term improvement, we often complement Sclerotherapy with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) photofacial and the Excel V laser, which treats both superficial and deep vascular conditions on all skin types. I suggest seeing an expert for a formal evaluation to determine if this is the best solution for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Spider Veins Unsightly veins can be easily treated—and eliminated. These blood vessels are triggered over time by a number of factors: Genetics Hormonal changes (as during pregnancy or menopause—or if you’re taking birth control pills or other hormones) Excess weight Pressure and repetition associated with crossing legs when sitting AgingI can treat these veins with Laser treatment: A laser beam is targeted at the blood vessel and the heat from the laser coagulates the blood inside, causing it to collapse and seal up—without damaging nearby skin, vessels, or tissue. Over several weeks, the vein will shrink and disappear. One to five sessions, spaced four weeks apart, is typically required.

Answer: VeinWave Hi, Phmnin, I would recommend treatment with VeinWave. VeinWave is a revolutionary technique used to eliminate spider veins on the face. Using the principle of radio frequency energy, a very fine, insulated needle is used to administer the treatment subepidermally but without piercing the vessel itself. Tiny vessels will be destroyed and disappear quickly. Most procedures take between 10 and 15 minutes to perform, and no bandages are required following the procedure. VeinWave provides a walk in walk out procedure, with minimal risk of bruising, scarring, or pigmentation changes. The results I have personally seen with Vein Wave are astounding, and I recommend this treatment to all patients desiring to eliminate small veins around the nose. I hope this helps! Best wishes,
