Swelling/puffiness won't go away. Could this be permanent?

This could be residual swelling that will go away in a few more days, or excess Restylane. If it’s excess Restylane, a little bit of hyaluronidase will help get rid of it. Either way, it’s not permanent!

It’s likely some Restylane and
it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Wait another few weeks and if you are
still unhappy go back and see the doctor that placed the restylane as he or she
can fix it.

You need to go back to your provider and see what is going on with this area, and see what may be done to correct the problem. It sounds like the product may be ridging. While this is less common with Restylane than with a filler like Juvederm, it can still sometimes appear and even have a bit of Tyndall effect with it. At this point it probably won't change or go down. You should not try to manipulate it yourself because that's not going to help, but you should make an appointment with your injector to be seen.
