I am searching for a professional's opinion. I feel like something is out of harmony with my facial aesthetics. I’m 11 months out from a rhinoplasty and I’m pleased with the improvement. But I still feel like something is lacking. I’ve recently started to consider a chin implant, or at least fillers. But I want to hear from people who have a trained eye before going to far down the rabbit hole researching this procedure. Do I have a weak chin? Would chin augmentation bring harmony to my face?

In vertical augmentation genioplasty, if the amount of vertical gain is less than 5 mm I don't place a bone graft. If the gap is 5 mm or more I place a "putty" graft of mineralized cadaver bone. In younger patients the bone can sometimes bridge a gap of 7-8 mm.
