Is this cobra neck? Can it be corrected? (Photo)

Question

I had a deep plane facelift and necklift done five months ago. I am very unhappy with the results. In fact I look worse now than before. I had the procedure to address my jowls and a creepy neck. I can out with a huge saggy chin which I did not have before.Is there any thing to correct this?

After waiting as long as possible (one year) I would recommend revision of the neck, trimming of digastric muscles and, possibly, submandibular glands. It is always good to discuss revision options with your surgeon. Good luck.

From the photographs presented, you do not have a cobra neck deformity. You have residual fat deposits in the neck, loose skin, and probably large submaxillary salivary glands. A revision lower face and  deep neck lift with fat removal above AND below the platysma muscle in addition to a platysma plasty is going be required to rejuvenate your neck.

Sorry to see a poorly done full open neck lift. You need re operation of the complete open neck lift with also sub mental incision and medial platysmal bands plication. Fees in the $15,000 ranges.
