I was recently told that Coolsculpting is not recommended for someone with type 1 diabetes because it is not as effective if you are insulin dependent. Can an insulin pod for the pump be placed back on the stomach area and not effect the insulin absorption? Of course, the pod can be placed on other areas of the body, but wondering how long someone would have to wait for it to be placed back on the abdomen area.

Answer: Coolsculpting Fat Removal — Combine with Vanquish / Exilis / Cellutone for best results — “Fire and Ice” Non Surgical Fat
Hello and thank you for your question! Yes, certain areas of the body tend to be more responsive to CoolSculpting than others. CoolSculpting works best in areas with pinchable fat, as it targets subcutaneous fat (the fat just under the skin) rather than visceral fat (which surrounds organs)....
You don't mention how long ago you had the coolsculpting treatment. This can happen but is not usual for most patients. Massage and breaking up the tissue with shock wave therapy may help. We use the BTL cellutone for this purpose.
Thank you for your question.Typically, there is no damage to an internal organs. Coolsculpting is meant to just target the subcutaneous fat which is the fat that lies directly under your skin. Coolsculpting does not go deep enough into the fat that it would have an affect on organs.
