I was wondering if certain areas are more resistant than others or take longer to see results? For example, love handles seem like a dense fat. I was wondering if they take longer to respond to cool sculpting than other areas?
Answer: Fat Between your skin and muscle That is what cool sculpting addresses, also know as subcutaneous fat. The other type of fat that resides under the muscle, visceral fat, is not able to be treated with coolscultping. If you would like to learn about all the options available to you for fat removal, I suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon that has coolsculpting services available in the practice. This way you can be evaluated and the surgeon will be able to determine if coolsculpting is the best procedure to meet your fat removal needs.Good Luck!

Answer: Yes! Hello and thank you for your question! Yes, certain areas of the body tend to be more responsive to CoolSculpting than others. CoolSculpting works best in areas with pinchable fat, as it targets subcutaneous fat (the fat just under the skin) rather than visceral fat (which surrounds organs). Additionally, CoolSculpt Elite achieves much better results than the original CoolSculpt machine. Areas that respond well: Abdomen (belly fat) – One of the most popular areas, as it tends to have a good amount of subcutaneous fat, making it responsive to treatment. Flanks (love handles) – Usually highly responsive, providing noticeable contouring with treatment. Thighs (inner and outer) – Both areas generally respond well, especially the outer thighs (saddlebags) where fat is more localized. Double chin (submental area) – This small area often shows good results after a few sessions. Back fat (upper and lower) – Typically shows good improvement as the fat in this area is more pinchable. Bra fat (around the bra line) – Another pinchable fat area that often responds well. Areas that may be less responsive: Upper arms – The fat in this area can be more fibrous and dense, which might make it less responsive compared to other areas. Lower legs (calves) – This area is less commonly treated because it often has less subcutaneous fat and might not respond as well. Areas with more fibrous or firm fat – Areas where fat is more fibrous, like in individuals with dense muscle mass or previous surgery scars, may show slower or less dramatic results. Results can vary based on factors like the thickness of fat, your body composition, and your skin’s elasticity. Multiple treatments may be needed to achieve the desired results in less responsive areas. I hope this helps! Answer: Some Areas More Resistant to CoolSculpting? CoolSculpting Best on Pinchable Fat
You’ll see the most dramatic differences with CoolSculpting on pinchable fat that bulges out — loose fat that can be sucked into the original or Mini applicator. However, CoolSculpting also does a great job on flatter areas, where the fat may be mixed with fibrous tissue, such as the flanks or outer thighs (saddlebags). Love handles respond quite well to CoolSculpting, even if it seems denser and less pinchable because the new CoolSculpting applicators aren’t as dependent on suctioning into the cup and do very well with this type of fat! Please find a board-certified dermatologist to take a look at your fat deposition patterns to determine if you’d do well reshaping your figure with CoolSculpting.

Answer: Coolsculpting Results Hello, Thank you for your great question. While I wouldn’t say an area is more resistant, some areas do take a bit longer to see results. The upper body tends to respond quicker than the lower body. The legs usually take the full 3 ( sometimes 4 ) months to see results! Please consult with a local physician to discuss what to expect from your treatment.Good luck!

Answer: Are certain areas more resistant to CoolSculpting than others? If the treated area has fat that can be drawn into the CoolSculpting applicator, there should be improvement. I have not seen one area get better or worse results than others. It does take up to 12 weeks to see the results and some people do require more than one treatment to obtain the desired improvement.
