I had CoolSculpting and the provider says I now have subcutaneous induration. How long does this last?

It's on both flanks, large areas, hard, warm and swollen. They said it goes away but how long will it take and is there anything I can do to expedite the process?

Yes, this can happen. Lymphatic massage may give improvement. Keep in mind, it will take 3-6 months for final results with Coolsculpting. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative. You don't mention how long ago you had the coolsculpting treatment.  This can happen but is not usual for most patients.  Massage and breaking up the tissue with shock wave therapy may help.  We use the BTL cellutone for this purpose.

it can last several weeks. I like to use the “fat cracker” or acoustic wave therapy -( lots of names for similar treatments ) to speed things up.
