Regarding: "Is There a Maximum Amount of CCs of Fat One Can Inject into the Butt?
I was speaking with a surgeon earlier today about getting the Brazilian butt lift. He something along the lines of 500cc's is the most one can inject and anything over 500cc's would not last. Is there a maximum amount of fat that one can inject?"
Your question can be taken several ways in terms of strict limits, techniques and aesthetics.
LIMITS - you are limited by the amount of fat you have, by the amount of fat that can be harvested and by the amount of fat that can be safely placed in the buttocks. Obviously if you are a 125 pound woman of which 40 pounds are body fat, it is a physical impossibility to safely liposuction 40 pounds of fat off of you and then using hydraulic, industrial injectors place them in your butt.
TECHNIQUE - for a Brazilian Butt Lift to work, the transferred fat has to be alive and remain alive. Cramming large volumes of fat in one area will result in fat lakes where most of the cells are NOT exposed to the blood supply and will die. Therefore there is a physiologic limit of how much fat can be transferred even if we had a large supply of living fat. Depending on the person, as much as 2 liters (over 2 quarts) of fat could be transferred.
AESTHETICS - Big butts is NOT where it's at. For buttocks to be attractive they should NOT look like a hot air balloon but should have certain features such as symmetric half spheres, a V zone or diamond zone over the vertical crease where the cheeks diverge and a low back forward curve among others. While volume addition is important, it is MORE important to make it look like an attractive butt than a Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade blimp.
Good Luck.
