Seeking Best Brazilian Butt Lift Doctor Worldwide

Question

Hope I dont offend any of you great docs with this question. I know Mendieta is high quality, as well as others here in the US, but really looking for the best of the best, even if internationally. Price really isn't much of a factor. Thinking Ivo Pitinguy for obvious reasons, but not sure it's worth the trip if its 98%+ identical results here. Besides, who knows butts better than the Brasileros? I have done a couple consultations (e.g. R. Rey) but gathering empirical data is impossible

The BBL is an art, and the surgeon is your artist. I recommend keeping the following things in mind when selecting your plastic surgeon. Ensure your plastic surgeon is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and has a clean medical license. That he also has a high level of experience, artistry and technical skill in the procedure you want to undergo.

Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Mendieta has great results and presents at many of our meetings as do several South American Surgeons who also favor the use of implants. In the United States, the FDA limits some options and the legal climate as well as open lines of communication allow easy access to complications. This is not so in other countries. On the other hand, other nations such as France limit a surgeons abilities to advertise and therefore their outcomes are not available for review. If you are willing to travel I would highly recommend that you seek personal consultations. I am not dissuading you from your worship of the Brazilian Buttock Beautification but I would exercise caution in accrediting this nation with being the only geographic location capable of achieving a good result.

When choosing a plastic surgeon, the most important thing to consider is that he or she is board certified, the experience with the procedure you are interested and that you feel comfortable in his/her hands. In the Dominican Republic, we have excellent doctors, great professionals, and most importantly, board certified plastic surgeons, that you can choose from.

It is always difficult to answer questions regarding what surgeon is best because there is no such thing as one surgeon being the best for every single patient. Every surgeon has his or her own unique style. With that said, different patients appreciate certain styles more than others. The best way to vet a doctor is to research them on a platform such as RealSelf.com to ensure your doctor is a board-certified plastic surgeon and not a “cosmetic surgeon.” The difference in their education, training and expertise is vastly different. You also want to learn how many BBL procedures the doctor has performed in the past. I would also recommend evaluating their gallery of before and after photography. Lastly, how you feel after meeting the doctor at your consultation is critical. It is of upmost importance that you feel comfortable with the doctor you choose for your aesthetic journey.
