From the photos, it is likely that this is a hypertrophic scar (a "proud flesh scar), which is essentially an overproduction of fibrous tissue response during healing. If this is indeed so, then the injection of anti-inflammatory agents, such as triamcinolone+/-5-FU, can help to shrink and flatten the scar. I'm sorry to hear you went through this unfortunate event. This scar may need to be surgically removed for the best outcome, but fillers and lasers like ablative CO2 can help.
