In my teens my boobs grew too quickly (I believe it was a hormonal imbalance) and I saw that my boobs sagged. I was saddened b/c I didn't expect sagging in my teens, and since I've been considering a breast lift, although I'm not quite sure whether I'd like to go through the healing process, or be comfortable with the inevitable scarring that comes with ANY surgery (and of course, the cost). Is the surgery worth it, or should I wait a couple more years to finalize any decision.

Unfortuntely the scars in the breasts after any kind of uplift or mastopexy technique are visible, permanent and a price to pay if you wish you nice breast perky again.
Yes sometimes some areola skin can be left after a breast lift or reduction. This is usually a temporary situation and it can be removed after a year. It usually is not very obvious but that depends on nature of pigmentation. This is a valid suggestion your doctor has...
As a Mother and a board certified plastic surgeon, I advise my patients to have their children prior to surgery. Pregnancy and breast feeding will change your breasts. Best wishes!
