Dear kat0404,you will probably need 2-3 weeks to recover from BBL. I instruct my patients not to sit for 2 solid weeks. We provide them a specialized pillow that our patients can sit on during that time. They can sleep on their stomachs or sides. It would be the best to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
Thank you for the detailed question. It depends on what you do for work. However, you can expect to recover in about 2 weeks. In our office, we recommend no sleeping or sitting on your buttocks for 2-3 weeks. We provide you with a special pillow to help you sit down without putting pressure on your buttocks. You can return to cardio in 1 month and weights/abdomen workouts in 2 months. I recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in-person consultation to discuss your goals and a treatment plan that's right for you. If you are unable to meet in-person, we can arrange a free Skype/FaceTime consultation. For more information, please visit our webpage.
Thanks so much for reaching out. Most people take 1-2 weeks off from work. I instruct my patients cannot sit x 2 weeks. Then after that should really only sit in a limited fashion. No Cardiovascular exercise x 2 weeks and no heavy exercise x 6 weeks. Compression garments are worn x 6 weeks 24 hours a day and another 6 weeks for 12 hours a day. Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon and a body specialist for the best plan and treatment.I hope this helps :)
Recovery time varies from patient to patient and doctor to doctor with any body sculpting procedure. It is advisable to have some days off and for the first weeks after a buttocks lipoinjection try when sitting to put your body weight on the back area of your thighs and not on your buttocks.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on the recommendations for my patients 3 weeks is enough time to recover, it also will depend on the type of work you do when you return to your normal routine.I recommend you to make an appointment with a board plastic surgeon for a good evaluation and to talk about your goals.Good luck :)
Most of my patients can go back to work within a week or so, but they can not sit on their buttocks for 2-3 weeks. Best to review with your specific surgeon.

Thank you for your question, you should know that every patient is different and have their own recovery time. I recommend my patients to wait about 1-2 weeks before go back to work and sit properly, better sleep on their side or stomach and use a compression garmet with closed buttocks. I recommend you to have a peronal consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, all the best!!
In general, patients go back to light daily activities in a few days, and return to work in about a week or 10 days (no heavy lifting). I recommend my patients to avoid sitting for two weeks after surgery. Later, a special BBL pillow can be used.
Whether or not you ruin your results following a tummy tuck, BBL, etc. is dependent on how much you alter the results that you have given. Moderate to severe weight gain will definitely change your body canvas. In general, moms that keep their weight gain to less than 30 pounds, seem to maintain...
Liposuction and a BBL will improve your overall appearance, but the abdomen will need some sort of skin tightening. If you absolutely do not want a tummy tuck, you may get some benefit from BodyTite.

Hi and thanks for such and important question. Fat that has been transfered to buttocks or any other part takes 6 month to integrate to rest of the tissue where it has been trasnfered. In this period some of the fat will be reasorbed by the body and the rest will become part of the area. Non po...
Hello,Thank you for your question. Based on what can be seen you may be a candidate for Sculptra in that area, although you may need a lot in those areas. You also may consider using CoolSculpting to reduce your outer thigh to make the areas more proportional. You need to consult with a local ...
Facial procedures are a bit conflictive with BBL surgery, since they require a supine (head up) position afterwards, whereas for optimal BBL results you should ideally try to sleep face down and not sit for about 2 weeks after surgery.I would do BBL first, for the following reason: if you want...
