How long does it normally take to heal after a BBL?

Dear kat0404,you will probably need 2-3 weeks to recover from BBL. I instruct my patients not to sit for 2 solid weeks. We provide them a specialized pillow that our patients can sit on during that time. Thank you for the detailed question. It depends on what you do for work. However, you can expect to recover in about 2 weeks. In our office, we recommend no sleeping or sitting on your buttocks for 2-3 weeks. We provide you with a special pillow to help you sit down without putting pressure on your buttocks. You can return to cardio in 1 month and weights/abdomen workouts in 2 months. Thanks so much for reaching out.  Most people take 1-2 weeks off from work.  I instruct my patients cannot sit x 2 weeks.  Then after that should really only sit in a limited fashion.  No Cardiovascular exercise x 2 weeks and no heavy exercise x 6 weeks.  Compression garments are worn x 6 weeks 24 hours a day and another 6 weeks for 12 hours a day. Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon and a body specialist for the best plan and treatment.I hope this helps :)
