I had a lift with implants in 2016. About a year or two later I started to notice dark skin reappearing under my areola. It's the same exact color as my areola but I figured it was scarring/keloids forming. It is not raised or hard. A few months ago my OBGYN saw it and said she thought It is the areola skin growing back to wear my areola/nipple placement previously was. Is that what it is? If so, what are my options to get rid of it? Only surgical Scar revision?
