Is the areola skin growing back or is it a scar? How can I get rid of it? (photos)

Thanks for submitting your questions and photos. Based on your photos, the darkened areas do look like remnants of areola skin that can sometimes not be fully removed with a lift. This can sometimes be lightened with topical creams or IPL. If it would not distort your breast shape, they can sometimes be excised/removed. Yes, you have some excess areolar skin which can be excised if you want. This could probably be done in the office under local anesthesia. It might take more than one session to not distort the breast.

It does appear to be residual pigmented areola skin. Better photos of the naked unsupported breasts frontal view would aid me in proposing a viable treatment. If the breasts are symmetrical, then a revision with excision of unilateral areola skin may not be a viable option. In this case, you might need to tweak both sides.
