Right after the procedure, you could experience bleeding, pain, or scar tissue development, however, these area rare. Your plastic surgeon will be able to review these risks in further detail. There is no increased risk of cancer from just having surgery. However, you might have more difficulty with breast feeding in the future.
The lower part of your breast with the higher nipple does hang down more. If this were shortened, your nipple might not appear to be as high without having to move the nipples. Please discuss this with your surgeon.
