Health conditions are hypothyroidism, fatty liver disease and celiac diseas - Tummy tuck surgery candidate?

50 yr old female. 5'7 170lbs. Obtained medical clearance from primary saying low risk. Cardiologist says low to moderate risk. Hepatologist says low risk. Current health conditions all well maintained. However I had a mild TIA in 2018. Does this disqualify me for surgery? Healrh conditions are hypothyroidism, fatty liver disease and celiac disease.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You will nee to get a clearance prior to elective procedures. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Thanks for your question. Based on the information you provided, you appear to be a low-risk candidate for a TT. Regarding your TIA, if you are taking baby aspirin, you should speak with your surgeon about whether and when it should be stopped. Aside from that, nothing in what you’ve shared would exclude you from a TT. Hope that helps.
