I've been to one consultation and all went great. The plastic surgeon said I would be starting with a good foundation and we chose the size, incision, and type ideal for someone with Marfan's. He, however was unwilling to operate for fear of aortic dissection. He finished up by saying it wasn't impossible to get done, and a university might be my best "bet", but I am just wondering the likelihood of me getting turned down time and time again. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
