I just had microneedling and my face is very very red now. There were traces of dried blood too and i really want to wash it with Cetaphil. But if i wash, wouldnt i wash away the serum too? It's been 8 hours. Thank you
Answer: Post-Care with Microneedling Yes, you may wash your face if it’s been 8 hours. We usually recommend waiting 6 hours after treatment before washing your face. That allows the channels created to stay open and absorb the product/serum(s) applied before they seal shut. Once 6 hours have past, you’re well past that window and can proceed to cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser without risking washing away any serums.

Answer: 8 hours minimum Hi there, I typically recommend 8 hours minimum. If you can stay with the serum on it would be best because your skin has tiny microperforations and it will be absorbing the serum on top of your skin. Sometime clients feel their face stiff which can be normal. So if you feel like you want to wash it, wait at least 8 hours. Use a gentle cleanser and apply the serum provided for you for the next 24-48 hours. Also remember sunscreen is a must! Thank you Dr C

Answer: Micro-Needling Thank you for your question.A gentle cleanser can be used after a micro-needling treatment. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
