I recently had microneedling done on my face and loves the results. Prior to my microneedling I had very large pores however they are barely noticeable now. I am worried that after a few months they will go back to how they were prior to microneedling. Is there anyway to permanently shrink pores?
I'm considering doing either an RF facial or microneedling (regular - no RF or PRP) for skin tightening but would also like to know which one would be better for reducing the size of my pores. I speculate it's microneedling but an expert opinion would be appreciated. TIA!
Nose never stop crumbling, especially on my nose. Have seen over 5 dermatologist but not getting anywhere. Was told I have seborrheic and rosacea but my face doesn't respond to treatments; doxy, finacea, nizoral, plant stem cell moisturisers. etc. All oil free moisturisers seem to exasperate it. My nose pores are now scarred/joined. Is there any home of improving my nose texture, I understand not while I am flaring. What do you think could be going on? The texture is getting really bad. I use a gentle soap free cleanser.
I am a 38 year old female who is on accutane for 5 months already. I noticed that my pores are getting larger and larger compared to before taking accutane. People can totally see my pores from a distance and it has not happen before. I even notice people staring frequently at my nose especially under certain lighting. Should I stop the accutane? I had mild acne but was prescribed 25mg accutane.
I have main concern is with my open pores, I'm treating my acne but I want to know if micro-needling can be done on acne or after acne cleared up? Does it work on open pores? How long does it take to work? Alone micro-needling work effectively?
Hi, I am 30 years old and I have large pores on my face due to oily skin and maybe also aging. I have two questions: 1. Can a retinol product can deliver the same results as a microneedling treatment for reduction of pore size? 2. I am looking at the skinceuticals 1.0 retinol cream but it has alcohol denat as the 5th ingredient. Is this problematic?
I've managed to get my pores to look much smaller, but now I'm dealing with these little lines all over near my nose on both sides. Do you see this regularly? I've struggled with rough texture/acne for the last 20 years. Is this damage from that that I'm just now seeing? Or is this maybe just genetic? Anything I can do to look more normal for my age?
