I fell asleep drunk so was in awkward position with my hand under my face pushing this thick rim from bonnet into skin even more. When I woke up there was a long red line across forehead. Then it turned into a bunch of small white bumps or blisters that eventually all burst and formed a dark black line. Something similar happened before so I knew could take my skin 9-12 months to heal and didn't want to wait that long. Doc told me to use Hydroquinine & Silicone gel sheets and this happened : (.
Had aggressive microneedling done in May 2021 with 3mm needle (unbeknown to me as I was in trusted hands of a dermatologist who had carried out two previous treatments on me which were fine). I now have tram marks/micro holes all over my face. New dermatologist prescribed tretinoin as it could help remodel scars/improve texture and also I am too scared of having other procedures on face. Will the tretinoin help improve the scars? If not, whats the mildest/least risk procedure? Thanks
I have been steadily getting my tattoo laser removed. My tattoo removal technician has recommended that I get microneedling on my tattoo to help reconfigure/reconstruct some of the scar tissue on it. This is because the scar tissue has trapped some ink particles and that microneedling may help release the trapped ink and speed up the removal process. Im a bit skeptical on this, additionally I have never heard of microneedling on anywhere but the face and I cannot find a provider who offers this
Hello, I have surgical scars on both calves and performed fraxel on them around 7 years ago with good results, other than slight hypopigmentation. Recently a dermatologist recommended microneedling the scars and i have noticed the skin on the scars looking crepey and wrinkled. Is this normal? Will this go away after more sessions? I have noticed the skin seems to be rejuvenating but I do not like the crepey appearance to my scars.
I got a mole removed from my pubic area years ago and I have this very noticeable scar. Recently Ive tried scar camouflage and after several treatments of that the scar was still white because of all the scar tissue Im assuming. So to lessen the scar tissue Ive recently tried micro needling at home once. That was a couple weeks ago and now my scar looks even brighter now and looks like I lost some of the scar camouflage pigment. How can I get the pigment back in the scar?
