I am taking antibiotics (Lymecycline) once a day for acne treatment. ​Is it safe to go for microneedling?

Thanks for your question.  As long as your acne is under control without open lesions, there should not be a problem with microneedling while on antibiotics.  It is actually an amazing treatment for acne scarring as well, especially with PRP.

Microneedling using your own PRP is a very safe procedure to even out your skin tone, minimize acne scars and increase collagen production. Taking antibiotics is not a contraindication to microneedling. Make sure you have this procedure done in a medical setting by an experienced physician.

The antibiotic that you are taking would not be a contraindication for microneedling.  You can always call the provider that you are considering and ask them what their specific policy is for microneedling and antibiotics.
