Unfortunately NO it will not help. Skin lighteners, SPF and time are the only things to help post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. Although some Jessners peels after bleaching creams for 4-6 weeks may also be an option.
The hyperpigmentation you have would better be treated with skin lighteners initially. After treating the skin and avoiding sun exposure you could also consider laser treatment to lighten it. Be sure to schedule a consultation appointment with an experience provider as lasers can worsen the situation as well. Best of luck!

Small red dots after microneedling may be tiny needle marks and not broken capillaries. Usually, they resolve in less than a week. Just be diligent with sunblock . If they are still present after 7 days I would contact your provider.

Who is qualified to perform a microneedling procedure is determined by the state you live in. In California only Registered Nurses can do microneedling but for example, in Az a trained aesthetitian can also perform the procedure.
