Thank you for your question. Looking at your photos I would agree that you have tuberous breast. I would recommend a breast lift and possibly a small reduction. This will allow your surgeon of choice to give you better shape and proper breast position. I would recommend seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.
Hello, thank you for your question. It seems like you may benefit from a breast lift/Reduction. My recommendation is to choose a board certified plastic surgeon that has experience in the type of procedure you want to do and try to book a consultation, even if it is online first, so he could answer to all your questions you have about your surgery and to make an operational plan that works for you.
Hello darling,Thank you for your question. Based in your question and the pictures you showed, you are a great candidate for a breast surgery. Tuberous breasts are one of the most challenging breast shapes to correct. The implant size and shape can be determined by breast measurements during consultation. We would need releasing cuts under your breast tissue to open up the breast to become less coney shape. There is a good possibility that your areola need to be downsized which also provides the lift. Consult a board certified plastic surgeon. Good Luck!Dr. Luis Mejia.
The technique I recommend is a lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
It appears that you have tuberous, narrow base breasts. Breast reduction with shaping of breast and reduction of areolas are major features of surgical correction in your case. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon whit good experience with tuberous breast reconstruction (check the web side gallery) is recommended. Good luck.
Dear Inventive636527,tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall. The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition. My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries. That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I appreciate your concerns and frustration and it does appear from your photos that you have signs of tuberous breasts. You have ptosis and herniation of tissue within your nipple areolar complexes as well as tight inframammary folds with constricted tissue of the lower poles. It appears that your best option would be breast reduction/lift with release of constricted lower pole breast tissue. This would greatly improve the shape and appearance of your breasts. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon with lots of experience as your cases is somewhat complicated. Good luck.
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. It appears that a breast lift +/- reduction would afford you a nice improvement in shape and contour.
Implants do no lifting and only give volume and size. A breast lift is needed when the nipple and areola are at a level beneath the crease or fold under your breast. This appears to be the case in the picture you posted. Ask your surgeon if they use the published I.D.E.A.L breast lift approach. With this approach the implant is placed first; then all stretched tissues are stapled together. This lets the surgeon see the final result in one step BEFORE any incisions are made. This technique safely removes the maximum amount of extra skin, giving the maximum lift. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I do this with my patients, we then look at pictures of women with similar measurements. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. You should also be aware that breasts might change shape and size after significant weight change or being stretched from the milk of pregnancy. After the milk of pregnancy disappears, breasts might remain the same size, become bigger or smaller and/or droopier. And, what can happen can change from pregnancy to the next. Unfortunately, surgeons have created the term tuberous breasts, a fact which causes unnecessary concerns for women. Many women just have different sizes and shapes and in my opinion shouldn't be labeled.Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author RealSelf Distinguished Hall of Fame Inductee
Your pictures show tubular breasts and ptosis. I would recommend breast lift and small reduction. Please see the link

Good morning!I find that the nipple incision heals almost invisibly by 12 weeks postop and has much less likelihood to form a hypertrophic scar when compared to a crease or armpit incision!
