My lateral incisor had a crack in the side of the tooth (in between from incisor) which began to decay a bit, requiring the dentist to have to file away about 1/3 of the tooths surface area and fill with composite bonding. The bonding keeps chipping and I am constantly paranoid when I eat. There's also sensitivity so I was wondering if I can request a veneer or crown instead of flimsy bonding? Does dental insurance cover crowns in such instances and will they try it on to match it?
