For a given area, for example the glabellar frown lines, if you have already achieved full correction of the wrinkles with a treatment of Botox, then it's prudent to wait until the effect has begun to fade before re-treating the area. If you are looking to address a different area, then this can be done at any time and not interfere with your prior Botox treatment.
It is acceptable to have more than 1 treatment in a 1 month time frame but I would wait until the effects of the first injection are fully apparent. I would also recommend using a single injector as opposed to have been multiple different people providing your injections.
This is OK. However, it would be best to find one highly trained physician injector to perform your injections in the future. It should not be a problem to occasionally have a second treatment or "touch up" but ideally you should only require treatment every 3-4 months in the future. Thank you for your question. Ensure you are working with an experienced injector. It is possible to acquire 2 Botox treatments at least 2 weeks apart. Best,
If you are treating the same area and have full correction I would not do more Botox in that area. If you need a little more in that area be sure you have waited at least 10 days since it can take that long to activate. Be sure the new physician knows you have recently been treated. If you are treating another area it is Ok to treat close to another treatment .You can also use the other forms of Botox such as Dysport or Xeonin.
While it is possible to have 2 botox treatments within a 1 month time frame, you should determine whether you need additional botox at this time. If you are at full correction, then you should not proceed with another treatment.
As long as you wait 10-14 days between treatments , it is fine to have another area treated or if the initial area didn't have enough to relax the muscle, that too can be treated .
If you have full correction from your first treatment I would not recommend proceeding with a second one in the same location.... If this is for a different area of the face or body, then it would be fine to do that. But overdoing an area can lead to drooping brows, lids, etc. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient andcannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. The most likely explanation for your concern is that a small amount of air was injected along with the liquid from the syringe. When air is below the surface of the skin you can develop what is called "crepitus." Crepitus is a crackling or popping noise that can be heard when there is air b...
Botox and Dysport both reduce muscle motion. They're both measured by the unit, but one unit of Botox activity is about equal to 3 or 4 units of Dysport activity. They arrive to the doctor as a powder and we add saline to the bottle to make a liquid, so each doctor needs to be aware of the...
Results generally last for three to four months, so you may want to ask your injector to administer more units to the crows feet area.
