Mini breast augmentation Motiva Ergonomix 2 Mini - how can I be sure that I'm not going to big?

Hello doctors, I would really appreciate your opinion because I am having trouble deciding on implant size. I am scheduled for breast augmentation with Motiva Ergonomix 2 Mini, submuscular placement, and I am hesitating between 175, 180 or 200 cc. My measurements: - Height: 160 cm (5'3") - Weight: 47 kg (104 lbs) - Underbust: 68 cm (about 26.8 inches) - Current bra size: around EU 80A (very small volume, I don’t even fill an A) - Breast width/base approx: 11 cm (about 4.3 inches) - Poles: about 3 / 3.5 - Very thin build, narrow chest, little breast tissue My goal is a very natural and small result. I do not want to look augmented, just more shape and fullness. I am actually more afraid of going too big than too small. My surgeon suggested that 200 cc would look natural on me (and the projection is a millimetre of difference), but I am worried that with my small frame it might look too noticeable. At the same time, I am afraid that 175–180 could be too subtle. In your experience with patients with similar measurements and thin body type, which size usually gives the most natural result with Ergonomix 2 Mini under the muscle? I have read may patients would have chosen a bigger size of you ask them after a yer of the surgery but at the same time I feel panic about seeing myself with bigger breast than the one I imagine. I am very petite and thin and I wish to continue like this. Thank you very much for your help.

With your measurements (160 cm, 47 kg, narrow chest, minimal tissue, ~11 cm base width), you are actually an ideal candidate for a preservation-based augmentation (Preserve / subfascial approach) rather than submuscular placement. In very thin patients, placing the implant under the muscle does not always provide additional camouflage because the muscle itself is also thin, and submuscular placement may introduce animation deformity and a less natural movement. With soft implants like Motiva Ergonomix 2 Mini, a Preserve/subfascial placement often provides a more natural, softer, and more stable result in petite patients like you.Regarding size, the difference between 175, 180, and 200 cc is extremely small, especially with Ergonomix 2 Mini. In your anatomy, 200 cc would still be very natural and subtle, not obviously augmented. In fact, because you currently have very little breast tissue, 175–180 cc may be too subtle once swelling resolves and tissues settle. With Preserve placement, 200 cc mini profile typically provides gentle upper-pole fullness and improved shape without looking artificial or disproportionate.
Given your goals &mdash; very natural, small, and proportional &mdash; a Preserve approach with Ergonomix 2 Mini around 180–200 cc would likely give the most harmonious result. In patients with your body type, this range usually creates shape and softness rather than obvious enlargement, while maintaining the petite appearance you want.

The volume difference of 20-25cc between these implants will be hard to detect once in the body.  Many surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to get an idea of how you may look after surgery.  Another tool is to search for patients with a similar frame and see results from various implant sizes.  If your main fear is being too large, then go with the smaller implant.
