Butt implant removal - will I have loose skin? (Photos)

Question

I‘ve had my 250 cc butt implants done 8 years ago and want to remove them. My doctor says with the removal I would need a skin lift with a large scar as well. I was hoping I could remove them with a little fat grafting so that the skin will slowly adapt with time Because the implants are small size and my natural butt is not so small. Any thoughts ?

Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made.

I typically encourage my patients to wait a full year after their buttock implants have been removed to see how well their own skin contracts and tightens up. After a year, then a decision can be made whether to leave good enough alone or do any type of skin removal or buttock tucks.  One thing I say for sure is that that gat grafting does not work in these situations and will essentially be a waste of time and money. Glad to help.
