I want to look my age. I'm 30 yrs old but I am being told all the time that I look like a 40 yr old woman.Any suggestion?(photo)

If you are not a #candidate, your surgeon can make other suggestions to address your concerns and objectives. It is extremely important to seek a board certified plastic surgeon highly trained with your desired procedures. I also encourage you to look at before and after photos of the surgeons actual patients. Also, reading patient reviews of those who have had combined surgeries will be beneficial. Gathering all of this information will help you make a well-informed decision.

Your question is very subjective.  I believe you look your age and not 40.  At age 30 many of my patients will begin antiaging treatments such as Botox, Fillers, and medical grade skin care.  At age 30, the goal should be more maintenance than surgery.  

First I would perform an augmentation bridge and tip rhinoplasty with Allar base reduction. This would make your eyes look bigger. I would place an anatomical chin implant. This would slightly decrease the lip size, open your face and make you look younger.

It is not possible to fully evaluate your face with just the one photo you provided, but from the limited view of your face, it does not appear that you would be a good candidate for a facelift, or Botox.  Your face is also has good volume but there may be some prominence of your nasolabial folds.  A variety of fillers can be used to soften the nasolabial folds and this may be an option for you.  

Your photo shows a 30 yr old to me.  Even if you looked older in years, it is very early to consider a facelift.  The best options for you are fillers and botox to begin with.  If you don't feel satisfied afterward, I would then meet with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss what's concerning you. Hello Celia,The photo you provided limits the recommendations I can make.  In general someone in their 30s is a good candidate for several rejuvenation procedures.  Fillers can help fill the areas that are beginning to become more prominent such as the melolabial (nasolabial) folds.  Botox may be of benefit for improving active wrinkles.  A good skin regimen and possibly a superficial resurfacing procedure can help with early signs of aging.  I would recommend you see a facial plastic surgeon, a general plastic surgeon, or a dermatologist to evaluate for a more individualized plan based on your physical exam.  Surgical options may be of use depending on what is seen in person.  I hope this helps and good luck.  

Hi, based upon the attached photo you don't appear to look 40 years old.  The face does show evidence of excess facial fatty tissue, flat cheeks anteriorly (in the front) and a thin upper lip.  This makes the face more round and flat.  Other photos, of the face, including a profile picture non-smiling would help in the evaluation.  Based upon the aesthetic principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, female faces look soft, feminine and naturally attractive with heart-shaped faces.  The following procedures would help craete a more feminine, heart-shaped face.Cheek Implants for a more round, full anterior cheek bilaterally.Facial micro-liposuction to remove the excess facial fat for a more slim, shapely face.Hope this helps.
