While a man can get their body fat percentage down below 10% with extreme training, that would be an almost unobtainable percentage for a woman and would most likely be detrimental to overall health if they did.For women, body fat percentages should be somewhere in this ballpark:Normal - 25-30%Fit - 20-24%Athlete - 14-19%Minimum - 10-13%If a woman dropped their body fat below 10%, they would start to have hormonal issues as a minimum amount of body fat is required for normal body function. The number for men is much less, as they can have normal body function down to about 5-6%.Anyway, to answer your question, I would say that most average or normal people do not have a noticeable pubic fat pad, and for certain a fit person would not. That means that if your body fat is in the 25-30% range, you most likely wouldn't have an overly noticeable pubic fat pad, and if you were in the fit range of 20-24%, you definitely would not.Hope this helps.B Hermann MD
