It's 3 weeks after my arms liposuction and I don't like what I m seeing. My arms look like they are granny's arms. Right arm looks bigger then left with less saggy skin. Left looks as thin as I wanted but that saggy skin is making me crazy. I know its only 3 weeks, but I thought I was gonna get thin and smooth arms. They are very lumpy and they still hurt and very sore. My doctor told me yesterday to start massaging with any cream 3 times a day and stop wearing the compration garment.

Answer: Loose skin after arm liposuction. Whether the skin retracts and tightens after arm liposuction depends on several factors. A general idea of how elastic the skin is should be determined prior to surgery. Part of the pre operative discussion should be that if the skin does not retract enough a skin tightening procedure may need to be needed. As you continue through your healing process, be sure to follow up closely with your surgeon and express your concerns.

Answer: Sagging arm skin after liposuction Just three weeks out is too soon for noticeable results. In addition to the massaging, try to incorporate some arm tightening exercises. You will notice results over the next few months. If you are still dissatisfied with the sagging, you may consider an arm lift procedure to get rid of the excess skin. This can be done with an axillary approach. I have done this in my office with a very nice outcome. Best wishes
